Setelah 5 bulan lalu wordpress mengumumkan pengembangan wordpress dari versi 2.7 ke 2.8 pada akhirnya wordpress telah merilis wordpres 2.8 Beta 1. Namun demikian pada wordpress 2.8 beta 1  hanya disarankan untuk untuk tujuan tester saja dan tidak dianjurkan untuk live show, tentunya hal ini berdasarkan banyak fitur yang masih belum sempurna pada wordpress versi 2.8 ini. Sebelumnya jangan lupa baca overviewnya di  LinkEx PHP Link Exchange Management Sederhana tapi Mantab nah lanjutannya sekarang gimana sih setting LinkEx di Page template wordpress.

caranya Sangat mudah sebagai berikut :

1. Buat satu page dengan judul Link Exchange

Awal posting Blog Hi Tech News ini saya awali dengan bahasan tentang WP-MU. Sudah kenal dengan WP-MU multi blogging dengan menggunakan wordpress. sudah pernah install WP-MU di intranet Network?

Pernah dapat masalah mengapa email notifikasi tidak bisa jalan.

Solusinya mudah, kebetulan saya barusan configure WP-MU di intranet dengan menggunakan SMTP dari EXchange sebagai mail sender.

Settingnya sebagai berikut :

Edit pada file /wp-includes/pluggable.php

temukan

$phpmailer->isMail();

dan gantilah dengan

$phpmailer->isSMTP();

selanjutnya Edit pada file /wp-includes/class-phpmailer.php

temukan

var $Host        = "smtp.localdomain.com";
var $SMTPAuth     = true;
var $Username     = "username";
var $Password     = "password";

ganti setting dengan smtp account local anda, selanjutnya silahkan test run.
